Don't Bind Film Maker's View and Thoughts with Your Dirty Politics

I prepared this article when the movie “Aarakshan” was banned in three states- Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh. Today also some anti-social class of people are against this movie. I don’t know what type of movie they want from film industry, they are protesting because director of this film showed the reality which is happening in our society.
Prakas jha's film Aarakshan has been released, but the protest against this movie was unfortunate. The reason for the protest is some harsh words (not any kind of dirty words or abuse) used by the hero against backward class. I have one question. Where are these “backward class representatives” or political parties when poor people were being insulted or abused by rich men in Hindi movies? You have not raised any question because you are not poor? Or you have got the contract to protect only backward community? Why this partiality?
The matter is not only related to the movie Aarakshan, it’s the matter of freedom to express. In this country if someone has the right to say that reservation is not a justice, then others have the right to say that reservation is not a justice to common man. The movie is banned in U.P. and i have not seen it and i don’t know what has been said and what has not been said in this movie.  But one thing is clearly understood that if we will over-react for this type of movies, then knowingly or unknowingly we are making a society which will be similar to Taliban; the place where every dialogue and opinion is rejected. Whereas in healthy society there is a place for unacceptance too. I can only say that let the public to decide what is wrong and what is right, not the political parties or representatives from special class of people.
